There are maps for Starcraft, Battlezone and Caesar III.

enjoy.

Downloads are in .zip format, the lowest common denominator compression format. Mac users can use Stuffit Expander to expand these files. If Expander says it can't expand.zips, and you need to upgrade (send money) then either download the newest version or get MacZip.

Caesar III is not the normal kind of game I play. It's like a SimCity, but it takes place in ancient Rome. I'm not clear that I'll ever make lots of maps for it, but I'll share what I make.

Tarto-Londinum Northern Provinces Download (61k)
Location: Valentia size: Enormous

This is really just a modified version of Londinum, one of the City Construction Set maps that comes with C3. What's different? The Emperor will request stuff, there are invasions and distant battles (so you can score a few Triumphal Arches for your Palace Blocks) and I altered the landscape a bit. Oh yeah, no buildings disabled (like in Londinum), and I changed the province to Valentia so you can mine iron.

This map should be a cakewalk for anybody who got as far as Lugdinum, and pretty easy for everybody else too. Just get military stuff happening early, and you should be all set. Check out your production/trade stuff:

Building/Employment Cheat Download (8k)
File Type: txt Total Cheat? No.

This is a modified c3_model_notes.txt file, that you can download if you want to have an easier game, but don't feel like/are afraid to mess around with the c3_model_notes.txt file.

To install, make a copy of your c3_model_notes.txt file, which should be in the Caesar III/data folder. Just rename it so you can go back to it, when you want to stop cheating. Then rename the c3_model_notes_easier.txt that you downloaded to c3_model_notes.txt and put it in the /data folder in your CaesarIII directory. Launch Caesar and enjoy an easier game.

How is it easier? Not that much easier, really. Essentially a bunch of buildings require a few less employees, and I zeroed out undesirablility on a few things. Also a few buildings are a bit cheaper. Like I said, not that much easier, but it does knock the "City is short 100 employees" stress back a few pegs.

If your main problem is not being able to control walking routes, this patch won't help you much.
